B18 bosoted help

Default B18 bosoted help

i dunno how big of a turbo to run on my b18... i have 9.0-1 comp je pistons. manley h beam rods. and all arp bolts.. fully built head with bcs3 cams springs and retainers... need help on a turbo... and i still have stock sleeves

You should have made the decision on a turbo before you did all of that work. Those cams you have may be an issue, since there stage 3 I assume.

The information you posted has absoultely no direction to it. The size of the turbo will depend on how much hp you would like and where you want it to shine at. We here can only suggest but YOU have to do some homework as in finding out how to read compressor maps.

The holidays are here and people have to much free time...

those cams are named 3's but its actually buddy clubs stage 1 in reality...theyre label as buudy club 3, 4 , and 5's; instead of stage 1, 2 and 3...

as far as what turbo to use, it depends. do you wanna spool faster or spool at a later rpm? how much psi can your motor with stand? how much psi do you plan on running? is your fuel setup able to push the power you want?

thats just a few ideas you wanna think about before just putting something on that wont give you the power you want. i would ask a reputable tuning shop or one of the many turbo companies about what your goal is.

and remember, if youre trying to run big boost, keep in the back of your head that you have stock sleeves!

um, since when did you use psi to determine power?

PSI IS MEANINGLESS!!!
5lbs on x turbo is different on another!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
