I have a B16a2 that im going to turbo I got the shortblock in a trade and am in the process of getting the head and tranny. I want to go with some decently priced 9:1 pistons which im unsure of at the moment advice is defenitly needed. I had a d15b7 that i also wanted to turbo but when I got this it wasnt such a hard choice to choose which to turbo. I will be going stock rods and probably gsr cams in b16a2 head. I want to get like 290 ish WHP. I want to go with the AEM Water-meth injection kit on a turbo that I have not choosen yet. I am new to Turbo and dont know which one to get I will be piecing one together. This will be going into a del sol if that matters. Any suggestions are welcomed.

 

Your power goals are achievable with a stock B16A2.

My friend has one that has gsr cams and arp head studs and it put down 309whp @9psi on the first pull and 355whp @ 14psi at the end of the day.

Thanks for the input. I want it to be a DD so want it to be reliable. I would like to know what turbo set up to run thats what im really unsure of at the moment and could use a bit of help on choosing.
