Default Average air intake temps.

Anyone know what an average intake temp is on a boosted b-series? I mean - where would intake temps be to hot? Thanks

Go down to radioshack, and buy a fluke dual pyrometer. It's a little hand held display that should come with 2 thermocouples. Use one to monitor IAT's before the cooler, one to monitor IAT's after the cooler. You cannot say set in stone what charge temps should be, or what they should even be close to, but the dual pyrometer will help you measure the efficiency of your core. A good water-to-air unit being fed ice water should see around 100% if not better efficiency if it's a well sized core, and with normal room temperature water i'd guesstimate ballpark 70-80% efficiency.
