Default automatic fuel management

ive searched.

the only thing i really come up with is the SAFC hack. which i will not do. ive talked with hondata and they do not have anything to support automatics. well .. unless piggybacked with an SAFC i think i was told. also spoke with a few others here and there. does anyone make a GOOD management system for me, my autotragic tranny, and my 95 integra?

if this helps ... i only plan on running 5-7 psi

Any piggyback unit would work.

It's good that you want good management , but you can be very reliable at those boost levels with an AFC or even an FMU setup with the ignition retarded. I say go with AFC and don't boost past 7PSI, because your tranny won't hold it anyway.

this isnt a change of subject completely. but here goes ...

had my car in the shop today trying to work out some little issues. well i realized my head gasket and valve cover gasket are leaking. among a few other "little" things.

so here is my deal ... the motor has 122,xxx miles ... (about). it would be much much easier IMHO to buy a used LS motor and rebuild that. reasons being out of the car, more room, get into detail. and then just slap 'er in when its done.

is that a better idea than just replacing things one by one while its in the car?

I am no e-manage pro but I believe you will need the following:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by eymnewdc4 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">
E-MANAGE (basic unit) piggy-back engine management unit 15500500 $379.00
E-MANAGE INJECTOR HARNESS for main and sub. inj. control 15900901 $38.50
E-MANAGE IGNITION HARNESS for ignition timing control 15900902 $41.80

E-MANAGE SUPPORT TOOL CD w/ spl. serial to USB cable 15901001 $139.00</TD></TR></TABLE>

Only need the support tool if you want to tune it yourself.

This will allow you to run up to 10 psi (stock MAP limit) - to go higher you'll also need the pressure sensor and harness.

i will be tuning it myself. mostly. and the 10psi is just fine. i dont plan on running more than 7psi daily. +1 or +2 on track days.

i will be calling GReddy on my day off ... if i get one. just to verify what i need for sure.

If you plan on pushing it near the max psi, get the pressure sensor.

Uberdata will work with auto D-Series, but not auto B-series...something to do with the external tranny control unit, blah blah blah...

I wonder if Neptune has figured it out...?

basicly, if it has an external tranny controler (most all obd1 cars) then pretty much anything will work
