how much torque and horsepower can an 1800 auto box handle??

my mate will ony be running 0.4bar boost on a b18b3!

will he need a torque converter for surety or for definite if he approaches 200whp?eg

Hello friend, sounds like you hail from Europe, England/scotland/ireland? Anyhow sorry to say but Honda Auto Gearbox's are all very very very weak It will hold about 200bhp if thats what he's after, it may even hold 200whp if its just normal street driving whithout launching, but sooner or later the box will start to slip and eventually fail
