ARP head studs? F20b
Well i dont know if this is any help to you, but I own 3 F20B motors (one All Motor built, one stock SIR-T, and another thats just sitting there) and on the built one when i pulled the head off the head bolts had 12 point heads (by comparison, a JDM h22 head i pulled years back for bent valves had 6 point heads) Well an H23 VTEC i built for a customer i ended up buying the head bolts for a 95 Prelude VTEC and when i got the bolts (original bolts were 6 point heads) it had PCB in the part number (PCB is the F20B) and the bolts had 12 point heads. I compared them to the F20b bolts i had and they were the same length, pitch and so forth so i used them (same length as the JDM H22 as well with 94 on the head). That motor is still going.
Hey so I have my f20b apart and I'm putting the arp head studs from am h22a in and when I screw them all down one in the middle of the block goes about 1/4 to 1/2 inch farther down. I'm wondering if I should screw it all the way down or back it off and level it out to the others. Opinions?
