uhhh because he just posted about welding it on a national forum and I know that even though Joe is my boy I would still turn him in to tech if I was goin to lose to him
Joe go with OBX. that is the diff I am goin to use next year if I can even afford one. I know a lot of car that have it and run well. I know there is a car on here with a GT40R on it and has no issues with a OBX diff and all that power

There are 2 types of honda owners, the ones who dont give a expletive and the ones who worry about everything.
i am the type who dont give a expletive, and try and break ****..but anyway
from the results of this post it seems to me there alot who worry about everything since most people are scared of using a spool they dont even try it, but the people who has had em said there not even that bad driving on the street, its gonna be a straight line car no doubt and driven on the street when its nice out, ( not autoxing the car its gonna be powerful for bends anyway)
im just gonna buy a spool, a few of em for my extra trannys because i can buy 3 of em for the price of a obx and just get some sick axels so i dont have to worry about breaking axels and difs but trannys.......

I ran a tranny that had a welded diff before this one I got now. Ha, wait till you pull into a parking lot, other than that regular town driving wasnt that bad. Just sharp U turns and parking lots were my problems. I pulled it when it snowed, cuz it was to dangerous on the wet.
I have a prodrive spool in my car. No they are not made for the street. When you turn it causes the axles to bind since the outer wheel needs to turn faster then the inside. You should see how tore up my passenger side slick is from turning at the end of the track. A quaiffe diff is what you want for the street. I had one but once i went past 550whp the clutches in it didnt like the slicks. So i went to a spool. Dont put a spool in if you drive it everyday. A rwd can get away with it but not a FWD. It tears axles up.
