LOL they want $40.00 to ship an intercooler?

That is actually a nice intercooler. We have a similar one listed here:

i have had mine for about 3 weeks at least now, but havent had the chance to mount it as Im still getting engine finished up. Looks like great quality. I ended up getting the 12" tall 3" inlet/outlet intercooler. Only thing I dont like is the 3" inlet/outlet, wish it was 2.5 or something

http://www.hightempsilicone.com

4-ply silicone reducers are like 3 bucks more than hump hoses, it's not that big of a deal.

oh I know, With me only wanting to make 550 whp or so, there really isnt any point to me having 3" inlet and outlets for the intercooler, as the piping is going to be 2.5 or so.

Lol, I started that thread. I still haven't gotten my **** together, but I'm going to be buying one within the next week or so.

And yeah, $40 for shipping is high - but that's why the buy it now is so cheap. All part of the ebay game. For reference, I shipped a 42lb JRSC today (CA to WA) for $18.

I bought mine yesterday so it should arrive within the next few days.

A few things to be weary of - first of all, Xo2 offers a few different intercooler models. I was searching through them all for the size I need, and was about to buy one, when I realized that the smaller ones ARE NOT BAR AND PLATE - they're tube and fin.

Also, the dimensions for the core of the cooler I bought are 3.5x6.5x18. The auction claims hp levels of "350-400." I looked up an almost identical spearco core (3.5x6.5x17) and spearco claims only 350hp. So, you can probably assume that the xo2 model, while being stated as efficient up to 400hp, is probably only good for 350.

I'm shooting for 380whp but I bought it anyway

Oh, and I painstakingly read through EVERY one of the seller's feedback comments and the buyers all raved about the intercooler's awesome quality and weld appearance.

I'm crossing my fingers. I'll post up pics when it arrives and when it's mounted

Oh, and one more thing - the grand total after shipping, optional insurance, and California sales tax was $228. I opted for the insurance because I've seen DOZENS of intercoolers with dented endtanks due to shipping damage.

Well it arrived today

No shipping damage. And boy is this thing sweet. If someone told me it was a spearco, I would believe it. I have nothing but utmost approval for the Xo2 intercooler.

Pics: First two show the full polish, second two show weld quality, bottom left shows inside of endtank, and last shows me making sweet love to it.
