Obviously that one is the best because it is soooooooooooooo shiny.

That will most likely crack, hope they have good customer service.

... more info from their site :

"All our headers are constructed of 120 wall thickness mild steel equal length runners into a merge collector , flanges are laser cut out of half inch steel material. 35mm Wastegate Flange on the header for ease of installation or performance application. Also you get a T3 Flange (for T3 or T3/T4 hybrid turbos). Allow 7 to 10 days extra for plating"

.120 wall is too thin. That will not last very long on a street car.

It looks nice though.

In the pics they look nice (well not even). If you see these things up close you will see how crappy the are. You are better off with the manifold Elite hatch sells.

I suppose you are right about seeing things up close. It is real shiny though.

usually people say things without ever seeing these manifolds just cause the specs and price all point to cheap manufacturing. BUT THEY ARE RIGHT, these manifolds are really really cheap quality, my friend got one he is very upset with himself about purchasing it. Dont buy it

You've gotta be ******* kidding me! Why would someone run this thing on a race car??? The pic. above actually makes it look much better than it does in person. I got one for the 01 civic ex turbo kit I built. After recieving it and looking at it, I decided that's not even going on any street car i build! Now it's sitting on my clearance table and i'm just trying to get rid of it. The build quality is terrible. Don't waste your money on this thing, unless you want to buy the one I have for '01 civic

I think dans sponsored by them... I guess you'd kinda have to run their mani. if they are gonna help you out with a turbo as well. The collector looks like a pepsi can hamered to make a collector.

How can you tell that it is a POS manifold? Point out the specific bad parts of it for me so i can learn what is crap and what is good.

Thanks...

I owned one. I believe that picture is the nickel plated version. They are pieces of crap. Mine cracked in 3 places in a matter of months due to the thin walls. They are cheap and you get what you pay for.

I dont see why there are so many negative comments... I have had their manifold for over a year now. I and other customers that go there have no problems. And about the asthetics not to start anything but i've seen so many other poor quality manifolds. These manifolds are very good by design, They flow well( I hit full boost at 2500 10 psi with a T3), they have support brackets on them. And their not cast... I kno there are people that complain sometimes but i kno them to never turn a customer away with out trying to help. I do agree the welds could look better though...

Ok, speaking from experience from the one i recieved. The runners have a weld halfway up them that is ground down. This is not a good idea on a part that is already prone to cracking. My guess is that that's the first place it will crack. Second, the manifold was setup for a 35mm tial, but the actual hole that feeds the wastegate was smaller than 3/4" in diameter. Can you say boost creep!! Next, the way they support the manifold is not the correct way to do so. The manifold needs to be supported from the block to the turbo. Supporting it the way they do makes it that much more prone to cracking. The bend aren't allowed to expand and contract as they should with the heat. The "merge collector" as they call it is a joke and, as everyone seems to agree, the welds could really use some work. I honestly would be embarrased to put my name on this product!

you make very good points, i can't speak for the welds their done one by one and i guess mine was lucky. But as for the supports they are welded from flange on the block to the the turbo. And for there megre collector it does its purpose and it works i've seen so many manifolds that are tubular and dont have merge collectors. I dont kno when you got ur manifold but they are constantly improving there manifolds i drop by now and then and see wat changes they make and i guess its better they explain. I am standing up for these guys because they know what they are doing they have been in business for 28 years. They are more than welcome to fix any discrpencies you may have... they do for me and other people. I dont mean to offend anyone but if you do have a manifold from them why dont you try it ? u cant necessarily judge a product w/o trying it...

The supports should come from the block itself. The idea is not to connect the head flange and the turbo flange with the supports. This stops the manifold from being able to expand and contract naturally. That's good that they are constantly improving, but I think they've already put a bad impression in many people's heads. You shouldn't release a bad quality product to begin with. You can't necessarily judge the performance with out trying it, but if you know what to look for, then you can get an idea. Hell, even the worst designed manifold will "work". You can, however, judge quality w/o trying it...

well its cool eveyone has their own opinon... I guess i'll just make my comment i've had the kit on my 96teg AUTO running 10psi no complaints. good spool up time and alot of torque.. no signs of cracks or exaust leaks and as far as customer service they are very easy to work with... I was just there today gettin a down pipe for a friend a(1.6 sentra ) ... they were more than welcome to modify the downpipe i brought them at no charge... i have pix of my setup i just got to find a link to attach it to.. and back to the 28 years of service everyone started from somewhere... there's always room for improvement.

to good customer service poorly constucted manifold. Maybe you can give them a heads up on how people feel and maybe they will work on a new style manifold?
