Anyone made/modified their own intercooler.
Here's what I'm thinking. I forget the guys name but he's notorious for making great intercoolers for the guys on http://www.homemadeturbo.com. If I had to guess I think his name is Tyruss. What he does is cut horizontal cuts on large semi intercoolers to make multiple intercoolers. So what I'm thinking is using a Volvo intercooler. They are a really good width but they are about two times too tall. I'm planning on cutting right below one of the horizontal tubes to make the intercooler about half as tall. Then all I would need to do is patch the two side pieces, and the patches have to hold for 7PSI. If it's plastic I think I'm stuck but if it's metal I can get it brazed.
Anyone have any expierence or tips?

11.2 only 2 times at the track so far. the only thing holding it back from 10's right now is the stock axles. the car will go 10's on stock axles but it wont be consistent.
