There are several of them running 12's. Our very own rboosted717 ran a 12. Greg Holden ran a low 13, and JRCivic on hostboard ran a 12. I think the other guy that ran a 12 was that guy that made the intercooler, but I dont remember his name. I wouldnt say they suck, but its does what is says its gonna do.

Yoko AVSi's for my best run. Full interior. 2.1 second 60' time.
I'd probably crack into the 12's if I had slicks.

12.5 with it missfiring down the track due to bad sparkplugs. Oh yeah that was with 230whp (8psi) with it missfiring. With it not misfiring it does 270whp (8psi). High 11's sure!
Oh yeah that was with a 1.7 60ft with slicks on stock rims and 2600lbs with driver. I also never shift fast. I like to granny shift it because its not worth the extra 1/10 yet since I'm still messing around with the car.
Here's the 12.5 plot:
Notice how the car jumped off the line EXTREAMLY good since it was running normal, however once I got into 2nd gear- on the car just misfired the whole way down the track, hence the low mph. On a earlier run that day, I was hitting 110-114mph speeds, but with crappy 60fts since I was running brand new slicks and they were breaking in.

ask XXXRacing from the hybrid forum. he hit 11.8 on slicks in his b18c1 powered crx, stock bottom end and a LITTLE shot of the funny stuff.
