Anyone have this intake manifold?
I need to know what throttle cable to use on my 94 hatch with this JG Pro Intake manifold. The stock civic cable is too short.

thats your motor and you can't make a bracket for the throttle cable?
use your stock cable and make a bracket buddy.

Yes, that is my motor and there is a bracket welded onto the manifold. I think it takes a GSR cable, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I purchased the motor from Javier at JG and he has since went awol on me. Here is a pic with the bracket on it.

This is a 94 civic dx hatch I have. Cable is too short.
How sure are you an itr cable will work? Does it use a different one than the GSR?

not sure if it will work- but yes, gsr and itr are different, due to the manifold design

This is not the JG/Edelbrock manifold, it is the JG Pro. It is huge compared to the Edelbrock version.

that is true the GSR cable is longer than the ITR, if your looking for a few more inches it might do the trick...if you are looking for a foot longer then im not sure what your gona do.
make a new mounting tab

Which GSR? I have a b18c1 in my shop and the cable from bracket to lever is only about 5 inches. I neeed one more like 8-9 inches from the cable bracket to the throttle rotor.

Re: Anyone have this intake manifold? (Blown90hatcH)
Yes it is. I thought he was a straight up guy until I paid him in-full. Then no answered phone calls or call backs. Took him 3 months to get me the engine, half of the turbo parts were missing. Although I got the motor I still feel like I got ripped. He set it up with a motec but sent me no setup information after the engine was installed.
Long Story. Anyone else interested in dealing with him needs to talk to me first.

I'll tell you mine,I bought a D short-block from them. They supplied the core.Besides the usual 3-4 month jerkoff to get it when I received the block it still had the original oil pressure sensor on it,painted the same color as the block. When I removed the sensor, the oil passage behind it was all dirty and sludge up the retards never removed it and cleaned up the passages. Also all the surfaces that had gaskets like the oil-pan,rear main seal, water pump, etc still had bits and pieces of old gaskets still on in and painted over

Re: Anyone have this intake manifold? (D-Man)
Wow. They came highly recommended from some of my suppliers as a shop that made sick horsepower. The video(turbo race package) on their site is a clip of my motor on the engine dyno. The pics on his site are of my engine. One of the captions says " Type R race engine headed for Singapore". I didnt know there was a Singapore in Alabama. That is my motor with the same old chip in the distributor housing.

I was building a car for a friend out in Cali. My friend bought a race B18c and a motec unit. My friend got the motor after 2 months of so. Then about 2 months later he received the motec unit. Never received the harness for it. He paid in full. Gets that beeotch on wheels nancy all the time and has never been able to get ahold of javier again. That was 6 months ago.

Yeah, pretty much the same here. I would NEVER buy a damn thing from them. He is the biggest crook in the business.
