misaligning a body part never looks good. The fastest and most powerful boosted hondas DO NOT have "tilted hoods"

the fastest and most powerful boosted hondas aren't sitting still in rush hour traffic in 80-90 degree weather...

i had 500, never had a problem, then i had 630, daily drove without a problem, then i had 690 in my race car, drove it on hour trips here and thre and on the weekends and never had a heating issue, and its about to be rolling again with the same weekend and some hour trips here and there to the shop. Most of those cars can daily drive IF they wanted to.

i have, before i did the hood prop, going off EGT temps i was running about 800*C this was in a EG where there is minimal bumper openings, especially with a big front mount taking up the whole opening.

after hood prop, my EGT temps dropped 50-75*C ... so it did have a cooling effect on the overall operation of the motor.
</TD></TR></TABLE>

thank you! actual proof for something i may do... i absolutely hate the look, but would love cooler underhood temps

This hood isnt half bad, but can i get one for an Integra? Thanks for the replies everyone. I may not have to do this after i wrap my down-pipe and figure something out with the hood. Instead of tilting the hood i may try just taking off the weatherstripping...

the holes may not look great, but they work. lowered coolant temps 35-40degrees, lowered IATs 15-20, and dropped overall underhood temps significantly...
