That seems pretty high for 28psi on a 6262, even if it is churches high reading dyno. Do you have a sheet? I'm not calling bs, but what trap speeds have you run?

Really, if I thought my EF had a chance to look decent with some lights I would probably rock them. |

Re: any new 6262 dyno numbers?
Finished mine a few months back.
D16z6 Eagle rods/wiseco pistons Comp 59300 GE sleeved & o-ringed block 75.5mm AFI forward facing Pte t3 6262 .82 a/r housing Tial 44mm Made 618hp @32psi. Only 13* at peak ve. Cracked the front of the block, so we had to stop. I fixed it, now tuning will be finished at the track. But has been trapping 139-140 @ 30 psi is 3rd and 4th (boost by gear) time to get aggressive :P |
Re: any new 6262 dyno numbers?
u broke the front of your block too? or did i already know about that? lol
|
Re: any new 6262 dyno numbers?
i made 654whp and 542wtq on a local mustang dyno with my evo. 6262 jb. .82 a/r 32psi e85
|
Re: any new 6262 dyno numbers?
Im doing a top mount and putting the v band .82 housing on and plan to make more power i did 584hp at 28 psi on a ram horn and .63ar. Im also going to a victor x from a skunk 2 so im hoping to make 650.

Re: any new 6262 dyno numbers?
not trying to thread jack, but im stuck between the 2 turbos as well and dont want to start a new thread beating an old topic.
i have a 84x89mm sleeved manley tt rods manley 9.5:1 pistons endyn b16 fully ported head type r cams aeromotive a1000 victor x t4 ramhorn manifold i want around 500 on 93/meth and 700 or just under on race gas I am stuck between 6262 because in t4, 6262's biggest housing is .68 and it has me concerned as far as egt's go would you think that 6265 would be a lot laggier on my setup, and which a/r exhaust housing would you run on the 6265 in for input thanks! |
Re: any new 6262 dyno numbers?
here is what i just did to my 6262 thanks to member TurboFocus for ordering my parts and redoing my turbo setup
http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u...ewtopmount.jpg http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u...btopmount2.jpg will have new dyno numbers when its all done. It will be cool to see how much I pick up from the .82 compared to the .63. But im also changing from a ramhorn to a top mount and changing intake manifolds. |
