Default Another Zdyne question

Woohoo, i'm happy i just got my Zdyne today, but wait......... i don't know how to tune DOH. I actually have a few programs downloaded for my turboed ZC, but what i need to know is what do the top figures represent on the fuel and spark maps. I need to know what i'm looking at before i can understand this. And info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Uh. Those numbers are RPM down the side, and the ones across the top are MAP load, AKA Inches of Vacuum or PSI.

Please Please Please stay out of boost til you get that car on a dyno with someone who can tune it properly with a good Wideband O2 sensor.

You can and probably will break something if you change anything drastically.

Oh yeah, that's would be idiotic. I'm still waiting for my block to come back from JG, so in the meantime i wanted to play with the software to familiarize myself with it. Ok so know that we have that first part settled, then what do the #'s specify on each one. I'm guessing the fuel map one is volume, but in what measuement is it in. And in the spark map, what do those #'s represent. Thanks again

Timing = Degrees
Fuel = Pulsewidth

Ok now i have a good one for ya. When i finally get my block back, put in and broken in, i'd like to retard the timing after 5or 6 lbs of boost 1/2 of a degree per every lb of boost after that. Can i do that with this or do i just have to play with it to get it right. Or can i somehow tell it to do that and it will sense pressure through the map and do it automatically. Sorry about all the questions, i just want to fully understand what i'm doing. Thanks

HAHA, ok i just spent 730 getting this ECU done by Zdyne, there is no way in hell i'm scraping it for some hack program. I've heard ghettodyne is cool and all, but that's nuts. I'll stick with my Zdyne
