Another road block .. wire from main harness?
Thanks for all the help guys.. trying to assemble eveything.. and I've run into another road block.. where did this wire go? it's yellow with a red stripe. It's conneced to the main harness. The one with the two prongs belong to a clip on the oem intake manifold.. found the grey clip still connected to the manifold I guess I pulled on the manifold too hard while this line was still connected. But there are no cut wires left on the manifold.. so it must go somewhere..
Also, does the green wire go into the top hole of the grey connector or the orange?

LOL I accidentally yanked the same one the other day... those two ******* wires render the car unable to run... look UNDER the intake manifold... that's where they go. I don't know exactly the sensor they connect to, but it is directly underneath the IM.
Good luck!

I just had a buddy rip it out of his car .. and I got it connected again. Black on top, yellow on the bottom
What's the other wire for? yellow/red wire
It's connected on the main harness.. about 7 inches from the wire with the two prongs

The single wire is probably either for your knock sensor or oil pressure sender. The knock sensor is the black connector in the lower left corner of the first pic. It has a normal plastic connector. If it's the oil pressure sender, it will have a rubber bell shaped cover that's probably still on the sender itself.
Well, it might help if you told us what eninge harness/engine we were looking at...
Could be something like vehicle speed sensor, which plugs into the tranny, you wouldn't find a plug on the block for that.

I'm pretty sure the IAC Valve sensor is the one on the left .. the 2 wire (yellow/black, black/blue). I just took a look again.. The wire that is cut is about 3 inches to the right of the IAC Valve sensor on the main harness. It's right across from the alternator wires. Hope this helps..

This unknown yellow/red wire is directly across from the alternator wires.

thats the knock sensor dude... the green plug right behind the wire... look like there is some wire still left in the plug...
guys.. I found that biatch.. it's not the knock.. it's some black sensor connected to the block. My buddy ITR707 came by.. and we followed it on his ITR. WTF is this plug? I guess when we were re-locating the main harness we pulled it out. It's hard as a rock.. how do you get this out?
that the oil pressure switch... just take pliers and squeeze the end near where the wire goes in and pull it out... if your not going to ghetto it your going to have to remove the clip from the rubber protector and reattach the wire inside the connector...did it for one of my friends before not to hard...
