hey what technique did you use for the copper orings. I followed the GE instructions but the motor will not seal. Just give me a little insight. Thanks

Looks great by the way

I am using a 84.5mm bore via Endyn rollerwave pistons.

The intake manifold was purchased polished, I previously had a JG that was unpolished, but traded and upgraded.

I have been building this car for 2 years as of Dec 1. Takes a LOT of dedication to do this! It'll be worth it in the end...I'm ready to move on to a different project now.

there's isn't a whole lot of trick needed to do the O-ring...
Didi you check the straightness of the block ? check the depth of the grrove as well...
I did mine right the first time, I even took the head off and re-use the o-ring...no leaks...

like I told you before, use a small hammer and tap the copper in the o-ring groove so they are seated all the way down...

BTW: John, Nice man...very very nice....it'll be worth it man..trust me

I can get it done cheaper than you think. Thats why it kills me to continue funneling money into this car.

nice john. very nice. ur almost there, ur dream civic is almost complete dont give up on it. it would be such a waste to have put all that time into a car to just sell it when its done, u need to enjoy the fruits of ur labor and have fun w/ the civic for awhile.

That is exactly the plan. How long I keep it (or keep it together) depends entirely on how reliable it is. As much **** as I've put in this, I don't see what could break...but you never know...

I got my Defi gauges (well all but EGT but its on the way) and my DSS hubs. I now only lack 951 bucks in parts, and countless hours of labor to finish this car...assuming nothing comes up.
