air filter for turbo
i need the AC otherwise i would have pulled it, would have made intalling it much easier
and it's a revhard stage 2 kit
either way there seems to be no room to put a filter or peice of pipe over there. it looks like it will hit the slave cylinder bleed nipple

I bet you could just hook up one of thoe HKS mushroom filters right on the turbo. Looks like you've got a little room there. And Why do you NEED A/C? I live in Charleston, SC AKA 100 degrees and 100% humidity with no A/C.
i tried getting and old K&N filter that i had that fits perfectly on the end of the turbo, but there is just no room for it to fit, i don't even think the HKS one will fit without some type of tubing

i think the only way to get a filter and pipe in there is if u remove the radiator fan. I also have a rev hard manifold and the inlet for the turbo is soooo close to the motor of the fan. any attempt to place a filter there is futile.
what i'm doing now is looking for a pusher fan so i can fit the piping or filter in there
does anyone know where i can get these fans from?

I got a silicone rubber elbow and trimmed it down on one side and it worked like a charm. That way the end I shortened fit onto the turbo and the other end shot straight up. I then built a custom 3" mandrel intake from there.

Before I relocated my battery- I used a motorcycle filter. Worked good.
Since I moved the battery, I used some flexible exhaust tubing from Pep Boys and some plumbing adapters from Home Depot(2.5" over the compressor and 2" over the tubing and vice versa for the filter side) I've been using it over 2 years- no probs. Also, don't be afraid to trim some of that fan backing, as well.

i just cut a piece off a generic intake, slapped on the filter, and crammed it in there for now. eventually i want some drag piping to put on and move it over towards the passenger side like drag kits.

to people who have pusher fans:
Do you still have your a/c condensor and the pusher fan is mounted on that or did u remove the condensor?
