Those of you have performance filters, both element and induction- Have you noticed much difference?

Also, is an Element replacement not going to be as good as an induction kit? As the air filter housing on most current Hondas id have thought would have been produced for best performance (albeit while keeping noise pollution down etc).

So, would a highflow element be good enough for any half decent gains?

I know also, it would depend on engine size, mods etc.

So the opinion on the following engine sizes would be appreciated as to what kind of effect you think both element and induction may have, just to gather a rough idea of peoples expectations and real life results.

Im thinking maybe he is talking about using an air filter vs no air filter but I cant really tell either.

 

I think hes talking about an aftermarket intake vs. stock intake with a K&N style filter.

 

I've tried a K+N, AEM, and APC air filters on my turbo, and nothing compares to open inlet. Just butt dyno though, yet to tune it
