Default Ahaha, figured out the problem.

Thank's kabir!

See if you guys can figure out what it is, too:

First, look at this list:

. 36 STANDARD 20369-72 430410-0011
STAGE II 20369-02 N/A
STAGE III 20369-03 N/A
. 48 STANDARD 20357-72 431262-0012
STAGE II 20357-02 N/A
STAGE III 20357-03 N/A
. 63 STANDARD 20358-72 430225-0013
STAGE II 20358-02 N/A
STAGE III 20358-03 N/A
. 82 STANDARD 20376-72 N/A
STAGE II 20376-02 N/A
STAGE III 20376-03 N/A

Then look at this unimpressive dyno:

Then look at this turbo pic:

Hehe!

yup.. choking up your potential. I can't tell from the pic, but do you have the Stage II or III? Cuz you'll have to get the same stage in .63 form unless you want to change the turbine wheel too.

I'm getting an entirely new turbo. It's a stage2 wheel =P

I'm thinking 57trim to4e/t3 .63 stage 3 wheel

He's showing us that he has a .48 A/R exhaust housing with a Stage II turbine. This is really restrictive on a high-reving motor such as the B18C1. This turbine and housing, however, would be nice on a D series motor or any other motor with a shorter redline, like a B18B.

what is the dyno depicting? the difference between a .63a/r and .48a/r turbine with stage 3 wheels?

EDIT: i see the 20357 stamped near the inlet flange on the turbine. ok i see what you are talking about now.

that would explain it!
so where does your turbo spool up?
what are your compressor dimensions?

can someone please explain the differences between the stage 2 and 3 wheels? seems like everyone always gets the stage 3 wheel; why would you ever want the stage 2 or stage 1?

i would ask APEXSER on this, since i know he was using a Stage V wheel in a .82a/r housing!!!

Dustin, is that your old turbo or new one? Also, is that your dyno chart?

Why does my turbo have this on one side:

And this on the other?:

Any ideas? It's a t3/t04e .63 AR from a Drag III. Why 2 different #'s?

That 20357 doesn't seem to mean anything. Or if it does, I don't know what it is. I thought my turbine housing was a .48 a/r for a while because it had 20357 stamped on it as well, until I found .63 stamped on the inside. 20357 seems to be stamped on all the turbonetics turbines.

But look at the space between the turbine blades and the housing... def not a stage 3 wheel... Is the one with the raised block '2' at the beginning the one that determines the part #?

This housing wasn't stamped .63 on the inside.. wasn't stamped at all on the inside actually.

Hehe!
Dustin if you dont mind my asking what should those #'s on the turbo say? I got a Drag kit and my turbo says "20359". Is this the correct turbo or no....I am sorta confused. Also on one of the blades there is a "T" stamp that says "BAL 03" in it??? Any help would be great, Thanx

My old t3/t04b with .63 exhaust and stage 3 wheel was stamped 20357 on one side... but the other side is stamped 20358 with the 'raised' 2 at the beginning.

Mine says .50 ar is that small? I think it is!!!!

Also - it has 11 blades on the exhaust side (I think) and 6 on the other side(intake)

So could someone tell me what turbine I have....I think I remeber seeing .63 stamped on the inside of the exhaust housing.

Xerxes,
Go here to see the dimensions showing the differences between stage 2 & 3:

http://www.turboneticsinc.com/catalog/twheel.html
and
http://www.turboneticsinc.com/catalog/thousing.html

dustin,
I'm surprised that you didn't measure your wheels, especially after getting the wrong parts last time. I think you're just lookin' for an excuse to run that A/R .82 turbine and pull the big numbers on the dyno (assuming you can stand the lag).
Take care,
