Default After 5K, weak pull, broken o2 sensor?

MY friensd car, a turbo integra gsr with a T3 turbo, feels good from 1k to 5k. After that, it falls flat as though there is no turbo. Could it be because of a broken O2 sensor? 2 weeks earlier, the car pulled really hard throughout the RPM, but then he hit a speed bump and the o2 wires got ripped out from the clip. He put them back in but it might be in wrong. Could the O2 sensor cause this problem?

If the motor falls flat during WOT then the O2 sensor is fine since the ECU ignores the O2 sensor outputs at wide open throttle. The ripped O2 sensor wires, caused by the speed bump, might be shorting causing erratic ECU operation.

It wasn't really WOT. More like just 60% throttle, to redline.
