What are your settings on the AFC? It was running fine with the fuel pressure you had before?

you need to set you correction values to about -40% your intank might be putting to much fuel and making everything spit way to much fuel.

Im running the hack and I still have the stock 96 EX pump running 10 psi.

make sure your sensor setting is 6 in 6 out

EDIT: what color is the smoke coming out???

I have a 96 GSR DOHC
Running T3/T4
DSM 450's
Whalbro 255 Intank
Resisiter Box
V-AFC

Setting are
=sensor 6 in 6 out
=1,000-8000 RPM are -40 ( Negative ) all the way across
=vehicle type 4 with arrow
=throttle tried at 71%72% and 98%99%

Question, what setting to i put the Unmatched at? its at 0 now....Do i get + or -?
and do i really need to put the stock fuel pump back in? i havent cranked it up to 10 PSI yet cuz i want to get it running right 1st and idle correct

i have mine set at -50 at 1000 to idle the car. you need a fuel pressure gauge...sounds like your running rich as *****.

my fuel pressure is set at 48psi. double check your connections for your injector wiring...just to make sure. and another thing....i dont know im crazy like this but i would re do the whole setup process again. im ****.

oh and i didnt even **** with the unmatched settings.

Well checked everythign today and its all working right

I have a Big Feeling its the FPR and im not sitting at 45-50 PSI for Fuel ...
I cant tell where its at now. I adjusted both ways but cant really tell where its at...
When i adjust the AFC i can feel it by the IDLING if its Rich or Lean...

Hoping to borrow a Guage or something to adjust real quick..
And Hoping thats the only problem

Just to make sure, since you used to run an FMU...

Did you remove the blue box, check valves, or whatever you were fooling the MAP sensor with?

Nope...
I just installed the Fuel Pressure guage today..Finally came in the Mail..Well i was sitting at 20 PSI from the AEM FPR..I Adjusted it to 42 PSI as i been reading what it pretty much where i need to be i guess....

I got it -40 all the way across again and still running like ****. Found out Timing is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY OFF but that shouldnt have anthing to do with me running rich or lean

I would double check your fuel pressure. Even at -40 or -50 the honda ecu is at the bottom of the fuel maps - with too high of a fuel pressure its gonna be mad rich.

I kept my fuel pressure around stock at 35-38psi at idle (something like that) and my afc liked -40%.

Also make sure your afc is setup right, in the setup menu, and that you are actually changing the fuel to -40%. Have a look in the diag screen and see whats going on.

To me it sound like your running way rich. Take out the the 255 intank pump and put in the stock one back in. I have been running 10-11 lbs of boost and the stock pump has been holding me up fine.

Just my $.02

if your timing is too retarded the car will idle real low and have a hard time igniting all the gas at idle, make sure the car is at 14-16 degree's at idle, i know you should retard it for the hack but just set it at 16 to see if thats the problem
