For those of you who do not know, Ricky over at AF Performance has managed to scam a lot of our members and never deliver parts that were payed for. He made promises on other boards that everything would be made right but that fell through.

It has been brought to our attention that Ricky over at AF Performance has a VERY close affiliation with SC Tuned. As moderators on the board we have been informed by many people that ricky is over at SC Tuned now in order to "start over from scratch." If you've followed the drama in the past years, Ricky also worked for Wired Speed Lab which was ran into the ground and pulled the same scam that AF Performance did.

With a little background investigation, we managed to find out some information regarding this situation.

It's kind of funny AF dissapeared right when their domain expired. It's also funny that sctuned signed up 2 months before AF's domain expired.

I also did a mapquest search and from where AF was based is only 1.49 miles from the address sctuned.com is based.

Again, I've had numerous members contact me regarding this as well as other moderators that were tipped off with this situation.

So if any of you plan on doing business with SC Tuned, you may want to look over the facts and be careful with your hard earned money because you want to save a few bucks on parts.

 

He should just quit while he's way behind.

I find it kind of odd that sctuned has peakboost manis and kits "on the shelf" ready to ship, and I had to wait 4 weeks to get my stuff from phoenix turbo directly. I've also seen him advertise in the post your peakboost kit pictures thread and Ken from peakboost has never said any thing about it. I'm not saying he's a scammer by any means but something seems a little fishy.

Another vendor on this site told me that they purchased about 10-20 units from them at once. So everything seems to be falling into place considering the parts were an easy $600-850 a piece.

A while back AF-P was selling a turbo kit that i almost bought. I had a bad feeling about it after he wouldnt post pics of the finished product etc. etc......

Thats messed up. I guess I'm one of the lucky people that never got burned by either Wired Speedlab or AF-Performance. I bought close to $3000 worth of stuff through WSL too.

 

You've been exposed. Although I never really had a problem with Ricky in the past.
