Default AEM Wideband Setup

Do you guys think this setup is better than the PLX? Also I just want to monitor my a/f ratios while driving and get better accuracy than my autometer do I need to hook up the unit to output to ecu or can I just use it as a standalone...will it be any accurate that way? Im not gonna be installing it so I may not be making any sense here but Im just trying to get an idea of how this thing works. Ive looked at the PLX and AEM but the installation is too difficult for me..lol I have s200 w/boost on my 00si

the output is for a computer to read. you can use it stand alone i finally put mine in after 6 months of it sitting in my tool box. i dont have any experience with the plx, but i like the 52mm so i can put it in my a pillar.

the plx now has a 52mm gauge option as well, so you welded another o2 bung correct?
