Default aem wideband o2

I'm trying to get as much info as possible before I actually get the wideband. I have looked at alot of the o2's on the market and have narrowed it down to the plx m300 with the option gauge display, or the aem gauge style wideband.

the older aem uego controller had a calibrated 5v analog output, that needed to be run through a voltage divider/voltage follower buffer, in order to be used acurately with hondata.

the new gauge type has a " user programmable" 5v output. I am trying to figure out if USER programable means that I can adjust the maximum output voltage to match the max input that the hondata can read, 3.8v. and thus eliminate the buffer circuit.

the only down side to the plx is that the "brain" has to be put somewhere and the 7 segment display is less than appealing.

also does anyone know how well the gauge type aem fits into the gauge cups, specifically the carbon fiber autometer cups. thanks for the help.

I have used several PLX WBs. they are reliable and accurate. You would want the M250 not the M300 if you are going to use the 2 1/16" display I believe. Cosmetically I like the PLX better also. simple and clean
