AEM EMS please HELP!!!

Default AEM EMS please HELP!!!

i have an aem ems 30-1010. (thats for a civic 99-00) obd2b cars. well i have a 99 civic ex, that i was going to put my built gsr turbo in, but yesterday i bought an eg hatch what im going to put the swap insted. tahts going to be my new project. my QUESTION is, can i use the aem ems in that car simply with a jumper harness? or would i have to sell the one i have and buy an 0bd1 ems??? thanks!

You can still use that box, just get a OBD2b to OBD1 conversion harness.

I dont think they make a reverese conversion harness. People always go obd1 not obd2.

so if I get this right your hatch is obd1 and you want to slap on your obd2 ecu.

You could get obd2 plugs and repin the obd1 harness on your car. O if you can have someone make you an obd1 to obd2 conversion harness it should work. Dont quote me on that. You might be better off calling aem but im pretty sure it will work.

There are a few people on here that can offer him the harness he needs. I use to run that exact same box. If you get the right harness it will work just fine. It is basically a OBD-1 box, it just has the OBD-2b plug already build into the ECU for you.
