Which AEM EMS for my car?
OK I'm considering going with the AEM EMS and selling my Hondata. The thing is this... the built motor going in the car is a d16z6. Which EMS do i buy? the one for the 92-95 civics and I use my ecu jumper harness? or do i just buy the one for the 99-00 civics?

Whichever harness you have in the car now. Im assuming you have a 99-00 civic Si. You would want the 30-1010.
Edit. By the way. Go for it!! You wont regret the change.

no i have a 2000 ex civic. right now it has the d16y8 in it but the motor that's going in is a d16z6 (obd1). ie i'm going to have to use the z6 dizzy and such. the thing is this... obd1 doesn't have crank angle sensor (or so i was told) or a knock sensor. so if i run my stock ecu on it i should get a bunch of CELs. So I was going to use the jumper harness and run a p28 ecu. What I was wondering was this... since the motor will be missing those two sensors (that i know of) would i still be able to use the 99-00 EMS? or could i use the jumper harness and run the the 92-95 EMS?

the ems doesn't care what sensors you have and don't have. This thing utilizes aftermarket sensors and factory sensors but will run whether the sensor is there or not. why do you need a conversion harness if they make the one for your car?
Here is a list of what AEM has.
Honda Civic 1992-95 M/T Only 30-1000 Available $1,868.75
Honda Civic 2002-03 Si HB 30-1030 Coming Soon $1,868.75
Honda Civic 1996-98 M/T Only 30-1020 Available $1,868.75
Honda Civic 1999-00 M/T Only 30-1010 Available $1,868.75
Honda Civic 2001-02 30-1030 Coming Soon $1,868.75

not definitely going EMS... considering it though. just seems to have plenty cool features. and the idea of hondata's fuel cut limiter scares me
