Definetely worth it if you know a good tuner that has worked with them before. If you want to learn to tune it yourself, it takes a lot of reading and patience and a good wideband.

not good for daily driving / commute - idle algorithm can't touch honda's. you'll stall a lot in traffic unless they made big changes since 1.03

other than that it is excellent. and i learned a lot about engine management control systems from it.

Joe maybe you just need a real tuner like Mase to tune your system J/K

I have been running 1.03 for a few years and have had no idle issues. I do have it running a little richer at idle and it seems to work fine. Every once in a while when it is super hot out it might stall like once.

But yes the AEM system has come a long way since version .73

idle is not hard at all to tune, just takes some time that people dont want to pay for or novice "tuners" dont know how to.

I don't have idle problems either. I have nothing but good things to say about the AEM. I am glad I am not having problems with it. I have tuned quite a few cars with the AEM EMS with great success.

It is worth every penny. You can find it for cheap sometimes, I got mine for like 750 with wideband. I am not sure if anyone will find a deal like that...But find the guys that are not capable of tuning it that just wanna get rid of it. They are everywhere.

just get someone to tune it that knows what they are doing and you will be happy... also the datalogging features it has are great.

the newer boxs are a little better because to run a hall sensor you just re-pin a jumper and dont have to solder in resistors and crap..
