that is a bad as* feature...i heard it's really hard on the turbo thou..wish i could tell you how to set it up ....i think it works by dumpin extra fuel in the exhaust somehow...so the fuel burns in the manifold..makin the turbo spool faster

are you trying to set up anti-lag to build more boost off the line or full throttle shifts? what version are you on? I use the 2 step and I can i determine how much boost I want to build off the line. I can help you setup your 2 step to do the same

In most setups I'm not even using the antilag. In the two step setup, set the retard rev limiter about 1500 before the ignition cut rev limiter and dont use the fuel cut rev limiter, the retarded timing will build tons of boost.
Example:
retard rev limit 5000
ignition cut limit 6500
fuel cut limit 12000

Anti-lag is a turbo killer. Your turbo wont last 5000k's with this option on. I had this option aswell and my turbo was destroyed after like 3500k's on it. But one thing i gotta admit its an awesome feature. You'll see flames shoot out your exhaust when ripping it on antilag.

I was really wanting to use this feature. Does it really kill good turbos quickly?

no it dosnt kill your turbos that fast.. if you sit on the anti lag constantly it will, but for the occasional use at the track, it wont hurt anything

same here, the gts handle it well, but you will destroy a turbocharger with a standard 270deg thrust.

the anti-lag feature is far superior for instant, no load boost building than the rev limiter..

What I do is keep lowering the rev-retard limit slowly until I build the amount of boost that I want.. Also raising the 2-step will allow you build boost faster..

This was on a t3/t04b from a drag kit. I replaced it with a sc61 but don't really want to try out the antilag on this turbo

you wont have any problems w/the sc61. we ran one of those for about 10k miles daily driven, raced every weekend.

if you use the aem boost control you can regulate the boost by vss, set the boost at 0mph for the ammount you want on the 2step

This works very well, otherwise you have to set the retard rev limit and ign rev limit to dial in the amount of boost you need.
