I pulled my head to have some machine work and wanted to see if anyone has ever removed and reinstalled the head without replacing the copper o rings?I did some research and from what i found its a pain in the *** and most people say to change them but i was told from a reliable source that they dont need to be changed.just wanna see how many people have went without replacing the O rings???

 

replace them. you cant...i mean...shouldnt reuse them. copper compresses.

why wouldn't you replace them? It takes 15 minutes tops and $3 in copper wire.

 

They are worthless if you dont replace them

 

Would you lose compression if you didn't change them?

 

As stated before, you definitely want to replace them. They're fairly easy to replace, just take your time.
