I have seen a lot of civics and crx's lately with the radiators tilted back towards the block. Any advantage to this other than more airflow into the engine bay? Also, what was the purpose in doing this? I know that a lot of cars that i have seen with after market traction bars/crossmembers have done this.

 

Mine is tilted only for Hood clearance

 

CONTACT Earl PWR has developed a 1/2 core radiator that'll fit in the stock location without any modifications or tilting for the 88-91 civic

I would but, I'm sure it cost's alot more than $30(thats what I paid for this one). I'm on a budget build right now so apperance and cleanliness will come in the future Thanks for the heads up though.

im gonna guess so it clears the hood. but thats just my guess. mine fit in perfectly though....
