Hey, after searching around on it, this is what I know about the Holset HX35 thus far:

1) It comes on a 5.9L (I think) Cummins diesel engine.
2) It makes surprisingly good power.
3) There are 3 different types of HX35's.
4) They can definitely put up a fight against a T61, or so i've read.

Well, what I would like to know is some additional info on how to get this turbo on my B16. I mean, I know there are T3 manifolds available, but will this turbo work on a T3 flange? What about the wastegate?

I need to know exactly which truck(s) they come on so a trip to the wrecking yard won't be soo shitty, or so i'll know if someone's story matches facts if I were to purchase from a private seller.

Guys just let me know. I would really appreciate it.

 

the HX35 is closely related to the SC61, the turbo came on dodge ram diesels from 94& up, also they have boat load of tubine available to fit your needs an t3 flanges happen to be one of them. as far as the wastegate goes you can use an external one IF YOU DO decide to keep the internal wastegate be warned its set for a minium of 25psi.
