I have seen a couple of turbo setups where the guy had added an extra injector just before the throttle body(like a NOS nozzle) He told me it was the POOR'S MAN alternative to bigger injectors...

Just curious as to how bad of an idea this is and if other people are doing this.

 

Bad idea..Maybe back in the 1980s, but today we have better inventions that work and dont puddle up fuel to cause underhood fires.

 

 

LOL !!!! I knew it was a bad idea just looking at it... It's a very common practice in the montreal import scene. I know of at least 2 guyz that have that setup with no engine management whatsoever...

 

hmmm no engine management should be the first clue they don't know what they are talking about.
