Default about intake in JRSC

hey i have a Civic 2000 Coupe with a b16a2 and i just bought a JRSC for it but im missing the intake system i haven't decided if staying with the oem or getting an aftermarket.
so if you could tell me which intake system works better for JRSC and also does i have to buy the same application on the intake or do i have to buy and integra application because of the JRSC.

thanks

To my understanding you stick with the same Civic intake, I think you only switch to ITR with GSR applications.

I would stick with an AEM shortram.

I had a comptech icebox with my JRSC setup on my 00 Civic Si. I really liked it. Stealthy, made good power, but it was expensive. $340.

Just do what I did. Stick the filter on the throttle body & forget the shortram alltogether.

those are very good intakes and they are definitely worth it if u want the power gains

Cold air intake every time. Every instance of JRSC tuning in which we replaced the short ram with a CAI increased the power and boost level 0.3-0.4 psi.

Specifically, the last short ram JRSC I tested gained 14 hp when I rotated the filter up out of the engine bay.

Short ram sucks on any application do it right (CAI) or just use the stock **** box with a panel K&N.

well about tuning on JRSC im not using any hondata nor any computer tuning....
so right now i need a reliable intake because some times here in monterrey mexico it rains pretty hard so i don't want any problems with water....

thanks

any chance you have some dyno sheets to show that there is gain when using CAI instead of short ram>
