Default About an Greddy Type S BOV

I read somewhere that the type S BOV should only be used for low boost Settings, like 8psi,could this be?i have ran mine up to 13-14psi and it seems to work fine, what's the highest anyone has used the type S without it surging or losing boost, also Greddy use to make a stiffer spring for it but now they dont, anyone know if there's an company making an aftermarket replacement for that stiffer spring?

greddy rates the type S up to 18psi i think. my friend with a DSM runs 25psi on his type s. i have seen stiff replacement springs for the type s, but i'm unsure if you can use a stiff type R spring in the type S since the type R is larger.
