95mm eagle crank??? good for boost??
????????
had it in my gsr sleeved 84mm block with arias piston and eagle rods...now its knocking after like 400 miles of brake in..my piston and valve clearance is good...heard that the crank and rod bearing needs to be change very often???

From what I know with a 95mm crank in an NA set up they beat up the bearings and need to be changed often, in a turbo motor I would imagine even more so. I had a 95mm Eagle and was gonna do a motor with it BUT just chose the 89mm LS crank.
Have you had the car running and pulled a plug wire off each cylinder to find out what cylinder it is in yet? May need to drop the oil pan and check the rod bearings out

I have an eagle crank that came with a motor i have sitting here, how do i determine which one i have. Where is this measurement taken from (89mm or 95mm).

I think Endyne talked about this in his motor build in Honda Tuning Mag, he said the 95mm strokes show alot of side loading and bearing wear in every engine he built, he ended up going with a 92 or 93mm stroke.
