Default 95dc2teg's 500+whp Build thread

I have had my integra gsr for about 3 years now. I bought it used with 115k. It was riced out etc etc. I had to have the motor rebuilt 10k after i bought, (rings were shot never buy a used ricedout integra) After about 20k on the new build i decided to boost with the basic's: 50 trim, log manifold, 2.5 inch dp etc. Put down 270whp ran 12.7's all day no problems for 40k.

Then i decided to change the turbo to a sc34 and boost to 306whp. I only ran a 10th of second faster and that lasted only 10k. I spun a rod bearing and as I was taking it out i found that it was rebuilt with type r pistons!! that put my compression ratio to around 10.8:1.

Since then (about 2 months ago) I have spent a **** load of money and ALOT of my time putting everything together and dropping it in myself. This is my first engine swap and it cam out ok I think. Here is my long list of **** that i got:

Darton sleeved b18c1 bored to 84mm w/ copper O-rings
CP 9.0:1 comp pistons
Eagle H-beam rods
Type R oil pump
Type R water pump
ARP rod bolts
Balanced and blueprinted b18c1 crank

Vecco 28”/8”/3” Intercooler
FastTurbo vacuum Manifold
NGK Race Wires
NGK Platinum Spark Plugs

3 inch down pipe
44mm wastegate 9lb spring
Skunk2 intake manifold w/stock throttle body
Golden Eagle pro-series fuel rail
Precision 1000cc Injectors
B&M FPR
Walbro 255
AEM Uego wideband
Prosport Boost Gauge
Prosport EGT gauge and sensor
Prosport oil pressure gauge
Prosport oil temp gauge
Autometer Gauge pod
Half Dual Core civic radiator
SPAL 13" 1710cfm Slim Fan (i love this thing)
Innovative Race Mounts

Fidanza Short Shifter
Rota Circuit 8’s
M&H 235/60/r15 street/strip tires

Here are a couple of pictures of the car, motor, turbo set-up etc.

Im going to get tuned on either Thursday or Friday! shooting for 400-450whp on pump (93) and 500-550whp on race gas! wish me luck!!

Alright so i got tuned and heres are the videos and pictures of a couple of the runs:

381whp and 266tq on 15lbs on pump (93) gas (will get full graph later on)
VIDEO: http://youtube.com/watch?v=HtZf_HueiMk

Next was 433whp and 309tq 17-18lbs on pump (93) gas (thanks to John Vega At Phearable.net)

last was 544whp and 381 tq at 27lbs on race (112) gas, it started leaning out a little bit up top so John decided it would best to bring it down a bit to 535whp, that way everything is nice and safe!

PICTURE:

I wanna give a BIG THANKS to John Vega at phearable.net who did an amazing job and is a great guy with great customer service!!

i don't know about yours, but my CC fab mini ram manifold was complete ****.... horrible fabrication, inside of the manifold looked terrible, had to port the wastegate hole out QUITE a bit cause it was causing lots of boost creep... good luck with the tune though...

and next time, put the tranny on before you install the motor, its much much easier that way , same with pulling it

my numbers are in my sig...

clean build, how much boost do you plan to run on pump for your 400-450?

Nice build man! I see what you were talking about with the mani clearance. There won't be a need to mark the next one, I can see in the pics where they would have to go unless you wanted them in a totally different spot?

I'll be watching for some dyno numbers!

I thought i would be excited to see my car on the rollers. . but when It actually was up there it was a different story. Something about seeing mase revving the **** out of an engine that just broke 1000 miles didn't feel right. There were a couple times where I walked outside the shop, only to run back in after a pull to see the #'s. Trust me its nerve racking but I don't think theres ever been a larger smile on my face than the first time I broke traction while giving it gas in 2nd.
