Very possible. My friend had this set up in his 89 hatch and it ran strong for a long time just make sure you are getting enough fuel by using the right fuel jet for the 75 shot (i'm not sure wich one it is but it says it on the intruction manual for the zex kit). Off the top of my head i can't tell you how much to retard your timing but i will ask my friend tomorrow when i see him and i'll post it as soon as i can. He's best 1/4 time with that set up was a 14.1on drag radials and a 9.0 on the 1/8. Hope this helps

Like i told you my friend ran this set up for over a year. the dumbass did blow it but because he was racing a supra on the highway and when his civic got up to 135mph the speed limiter kicked in and the engine stopped gettin fuel but the nitrous kept spraying so he blew his head gasket. What you can do is just use the 75 shot at the track and the 55 shot everywhere else.....that's if you spray on the street.

you will be more than fine , and to tell you the truth, you dont need a 4 degree retard either.
make sure you have the fuel for it , 75 isnt alot , people run that on stock single cams easy.
ask mistabone hes got 85 on his single cam and pulls sick times.
just keep an eye out for fuel probs and i would suggest tuning it on the dyno

Mista blew his motor when he ran a 85 shot.

I don't know how long he's been running an 85, but the last time out to the track he blew something.

I do think it's possible, but just MAKE SURE, everything(EVERYTHING) is working correctly.
