6th gen h22 biulding question
thanks everyone for the help so far. so it seems like the h22 boosted is the way to go with a big *** turbo and a shot. does anyone have this setup and numbers around what i'm looking for. i would love to hear what your parts lists are. i need some real direction. i need to talk to an expert honda builder. i would love to do most of the work myself but doubt that i can so any ideas about a shop on the west coast sacramento or bay area that can do some dank *** work would be great. or if there is anyone who thinks they can do this with the f23 motor please let me know because really i don't care what motor it is as long as it is decently affordable and pulls 400 to 500 horses. the reason i would opt for the h22 is the cheaper parts and it swaps right in a manual transmision 6th gen accord
i have 10k cash so far so i know this will be expensive

Hey keep me updated on what you end up doing. I am looking into buying a 6th Gen Accord (purely because I think it looks beastly, love it!!!) At first I thought i wanted a V6 but after some research i see that It would be best to get the 5M I4 and more then likely do an H22 swap. I got *some* info on this from local garages and people that are more advanced then I am but am still researching before I plan on doing anything.
Let me know how much you end up spending on the complete swap, turbo and other such things.

I'm assuming you don't have a turbo setup yet, or an H22. $10k is probably not going to cut it to get an H22, BUILD IT for gobs of boost, get the entire turbo setup, and good fuel management. That's a hell of a project, if you do it take lots of pics!
I'm happy with my boosted F23, but I'm not putting down anywhere near 400+ HP, nor do I plan to.

well i suppose you could pull out the stock motor and sell it for about 1-2k(not really sure what it's worth) so u could have about 11-12k. buy a h22 for about 2k, spend about 4-5k on a build. then that leaves about 5k for a turbo setup, so it "could" be done with that budget assuming u do some of the work yourself.
