430whp is as far as it goes. maximum efficiency boost is about 21-22psi of boost pressure. As a matter of general principle, never drive a turbo at its maximum levels on a regular basis

You could, but then you would lose all of the characteristics of any response to it. it could give you about 50hp, but that's about it. By the time you install another exhaust wheel, and rebalance it to the compressor wheel, that money could be put to a more powerful unit

The T3 and T4 describe simply the housing and wheel families. There are over 20 - 30 different wheel combinations that can fit within that family. People know based upon the wheels themselves and the amount of pressurized airflow they produce. In your case, the T3/T04E 60 "trim" (based upon a standard 2.559" wheel diameter turbine package) uses about 50-52lbs/min. while other GT3540E or Precision SC61 can be in the same housings and produce about 61lbs/min, and still be in the same housings.

So do you want 350 right now or 450whp right now?. Your statement is ambiguous. IF the goal is using pump gas 93 octane, they require 2 different turbochargers to do it.

Then keep what you have, and can get 420whp maxed out on race fuel (or 110 octane equivalent) with what you have now.

When you want 450whp on pump gas, time to upgrade.

simple way is to measure the inside diameter of the outlet. a B case is 45mm and an E case is 50mm

Only pics that I have here to help in case you can't measure properly.

T04E cover is the far left. The middle and right are T04E covers.

compressor cover has zero to do with the exhaust side. the cold side has an intake your air filter bolts on and an outlet your boost tube would bolt on to. the inside diameter of that outlet is either 45mm if it's a B cover or 50mm if it's an E cover

sounds like a potential vtrim. from what i've gathered they will make 350-380whp before you run into surge issues. since it's using the .63ar it's not a bad turbo, especially since you already have it

No one's faulting you for that.. (This is good). But you need to learn things one step at a time with this nomenclature before you get introduced into too much. I find that when people learn enough just to be dangerous, they tend to make bad choices just on that little information.
