Yeah but the big intercooler should drop the psi that is why I asked about what to run it at. What is the difference between 6 and 7. 1 whole psi I don't think would make that big of a difference.

it's not that it will make a big differance, it's more like why not? because you can run 3psi and be safe, but you can also run 7psi and be safe....wouldn't you want 7?

Track times will vary from driver to driver. With decent traction you should be able to hit low 14's to high 13's, but then again it depends on the driver. 7psi is perfect for the Si. I should know.

Is that a pic of your car on your Avatar. If so, why didn't you get a bov? What kind of boost controller do you have, manual or electronic?

Depends on what you consider loud. Most of the B0V can be adjusted and the HKS makes a whistle amplified sound as oppose to your normal whhooossshhh.

I mean is it loud compared to say an Eclipse with the same. Eclipses push more boost so they are loud. Didn't know if yours would be. I don't know how much psi you have that is why I was asking. I have heard a couple turbo'd Honda's and their bov's were loud, even on EX's

Re: Is 6 psi ok? (DB8GSR)
Would a Drag 3 turbo kit with its own fuel and everything that comes with it be boostin at what psi to be safe for 01 GSR??? Also would it be loud and noticeable to hear on the street at that boost level for daily driven? Like turn heads?? Thanks

the exhaust is quieter then w/o the turbo and 6-7 psi you can hear that bov for sure. If you stay below 3500rpm you get a suttle hiss but thats it.
right now i have a drag kit w/ stock exhaust comparing that to a greddy it should be quieter (the greddy that is).
