headgasket oil leak? Oil leak near edge of block, Pictures inside.
Car has a slight oil leak, It's not a lot but coming from what look's to be the head gasket, The car has a new cam seal, and valve cover gasket so I know it is neither of those, After the car is driven it is wet in the same area every time, The car has no signs of a bad head gasket, no overheating , smoke, or anything abnormal and the car runs just fine, Motor is a darton sleeved gsr , car has a golden eagle head gasket. Any idea's where else this leak could be coming from? I really cant see any signs of how oil is getting here besides the head gasket. Thanks guy's

From the pics it looks like the headgasket. Might as well check the vtec solenoid gasket and the dizzy seal since it's in the area and you didn't mention it.

Don't worry about? Don't pawn your car care tactics to someone else guy. Check the distributor for leaks, I doubt it's the cam seal but maybe it is. Did you hondabond or rtv when you replaced the seals?

Thank you, I did not think about any of those, It just seems like it is dry in the area of the cam seal , and vtec solenoid...unless it is leaking behind and coming down the backside.

Take the cam seal out and put new o rings. Honda bond your vtec solenoid seals and put a new dizzy o ring.
If its still leaking could be the valve cover gasket. Good luck

Seepage from that corner is common.
I’ve had it occur on 4 built engines all with milled blocks/heads.
I’ve tried different MLS head gaskets and copper spray.
The only thing that worked was a thin ring of RTV around the oil ports in that corner.
It makes absolutely no sense that a head gasket can contain thousands of PSI but not return oil under no pressure.

Dunno if you found your answer yet, but the b18c1 takes 4.2 quarts per the haynes manual. Hope it helps
