Default 430bhp @ 22psi

Today it was my final dyno session. We made a couple of runs and dialed in the cam gear setting + fine tuning the ignition table with the Haltech e6k. The following Plot shows the max numbers of todays dyno runs. The outside temperature was about 20 degres C and the elevation is about 700 meters. This run was with 22psi. It shows 430bhp (374whp). MY tuner said it is not good for boosting always that heavy and the engine will not hold more than 20000 miles with that amount of boost. He looked into the plug holes with some special scope and noticed some detonation signs on the pistons. The sleeves are still fine. He told me to run about 1 Bar daily and I´ll be fine. Maybe boosting 1.3 Bar when it is cold outside for short periods. A dynorun with 1 Bar was showing 350bhp (310whp).

The tourqe is 425 Newtonmeter on the dynoplot below (it is 313 lbs torque)

MY engine has a cr of exact 9.1:1.

Geez, my eye's must be really messed up. It looked like the plot was in another language or something

Those are great numbers, especially torque Man, you got *****! I don't know if I could boost that high that soon after blowing my motor. Are you running the standard DRAG3 turbo?

Lamda ratio is 0.92 - 0.95. That is about 13 - 13.5:1 or so.

Lamda 1 is 14.5:1

Default Dip?

As said before very nice numbers; your ***** are bigger than mine will ever be.

That said, what happened in the 2000's.....there's a little hesitation before picking back up.

T3/T04e

My tuner thinks this *hesitation* comes from the long intake way, the air flow is too low or something. Usualy typical turbo cars which comes stock from the factory so not have so large throttle bodys and so large intake runners. So this is maybe from that things.

I think when I would remove the long way thru the IC, this hesitation is away.

What are you talking about?!?!?! 510nm @6spi NOOOOO way!!!!!!!!!!! You mean 210, right?

A t28 is smaller than a T3/T04e and yes, bigger turbos making more tourqe and hp. I bet with GSR cams I can make even more tourqe, cause they are not so aggressive.

That would be about 393 lbs tourqe.

Okay I don´t want to be a hater, but there is something wrong with that dynoplot. On this planet there is NO car with 1.6 litre? displacement making only 6 pounds of boost and hitting such high torque numbers. Some other tech should confirm this too, please.

I would go to an other place to get a better compare. Are those bhp a brutto nm or wheel hp and wheel nm? When those numbers are to the engine, then the hp seems also fake to me. Hence, the B18C has stock 140KW and you are making only 7.92 more than that.

The stock nm of the B18C is about 178, what I can remember. Do you realy think with that low boost you can add another 350 newtons.

We are here to help each other, this is not my car is faster than yours board.

Okay, that means you have about 240 hp to the engine, don´t know your exact drivetrain loss. These numbers are a bit low for turbo @ 6psi, but they are okay and realistic. NOT that torque.
