Toda makes a Type C camshaft. I dont' know what your talking about.. Jun makes a type 3 cam. In any event no you can't run those cams with a turbo, too much duration. Better off using your stock cams.

9:1 JE Pistons
Crower Rods
Drag 3 kit
missing link
tuning
maybe a vafc to help ya tune.

300 isn't all that hard to do.

if you go with a hondata you can probably get 350.

300 hp at the wheels? Should be doable in a GSR with any t3/t4 kit, 10 psi, 3" exhaust, 3" test pipe. 3" downpipe, and enough fuel to keep things burning.

What are you talking about, Toda is spec C's. I MAKE THE TYPEC cams!! I haven't released them yet because I'm loosing 10hp across the board (I've been fighting racing hart in court over the "TypeC" rims and havne't had time for R&D).

Not to be a proponet of rice math but Art hit 294 at 7.8 psi, so I assume that if he bumped up the boost 2 pounds he coul probably hit 300. Of course most people wont get this but it is possible.

300 hp is pretty easy to hit with a stock gsr (w/ stock cams) if you have a stand alone and at least 550cc injectors. If you want it to live a while, you must upgrade the valve springs and retainers or you WILL float a valve.
As far as aftermarket cams go, I have done a search for several months and really can't find anyone who has done dyno research on turbo cams. Probably JG if anyone but they are a lost cause. Try to find a cam with about .450-.460" lift and a duration measured at .050" lift of about 230 to 235 degrees. Use a T3/T4 turbo for a quick spool and about 10 lbs boost should be OK. Use cam gears to shorten the overlap.

Earl: Incorrect. Boost and valve float are completely UNRELATED. If you are not over reving the valve train, there is no way boost will cause valve float.

Specs on our 300whp/247ft.lb (pump gas) Project Integra (R.I.P.) can be found here:

http://www.c-speedracing.com/integra.html

Tuning is the key to making power. You can see no one of the dyno charts that we baselined at 250whp/205ft.lb or something like that, and after tuning (only) we gained 50whp and 40ft.lb.

Merely bolting on parts that cost X amount of money isn't going to make you more power (necessarily). Spending the same amount of money on tuning will yield more positive results with what you already have.

I didn't mean to imply that the two were related. I only added the float remark as a warning that when you make that kind of power, sometimes you keep your foot in it a little too long. I thought my rev limiter would cut in before float but I was wrong to the tune of a bunch of exhaust valves.
BTW boost will affect valve spring seat pressure as it trys to push the closed valve off the seat.

True.. (to a point). You have to remember that regardless of the amount of boost pressure your running.. (even in extreme cases) The compression generated by the piston (static) will DRASTICALLY out weight/over come the boost pressure behind the valve.

In other words, lets say you are running 30psi boost. That means there's is 30psi of pressure pushing on the intake valve on the compression stroke, trying to open the valve.

The static compression of the cylinder is somewhere around 180-260psi depending on the application. The static compression on the chamber side of the valve will FORCE the valve closed.
