GM part # 16040749 (don't hold me to it though)</TD></TR></TABLE>
749 is correct for 3 bar
886,012,539,609 are 2 bar
039,460,883 are 1 bar
look for the number to be stamped on the back of where the pigtail connector goes.

When I purchased mine from him it was an MSD, even though he advertised it as a GM.. From what I've read they are the same thing.

Yours was a GM in a MSD box. Dont let the boxes fool you. MSD is like $80-90 or so. The MSD ones say MSD on the map sensor itself. Ours have the white GM sticker.

Re: (1 POINT 8)
i believe that #16040749 is the old pn for the sensor but they have changed it to #12223861 and #15305891 is the pigtail. just for a reference #1997152 is the boost solenoid and #12102747 is the pigtail for that. this is what i've gathered in my seaches but i don't acctually have the parts so don't hold me to it.

Re: (B18bEK)
I bought my map sensor from Tim at Camp1320.com. It was packed well and $49 is a great price. I have a friend that works at O'reilly's that is hooking me up with a great price on the pigtail.

Sure isn't. Tried it yesterday at a GM dealership.

Re: (doubler)
You'll need to cut and solder the wire from the OEM map sensor in with pigtail. Then plug the harness into the map sensor. Therefore, you need the pigtail to have something to attach to the sensor itself.
