In looking for a resonator for my 3" setup, talking with a rep at a shop pointed out the fact that most magnaflow resonators are only a certain size inlet/outlet (3" for example) and shrink down to a smaller size inside the resonator so that they can fit without any clearance issues and still retain enough material to be effective.

My question is, if there are any resonators out there that are still effective, both sound wise and exhaust flow that either shrink down internally or not. Also, I know that glasspack type resonators don't do much for sound so steel wool type resonators only please.

For the time being, I'm just going to put the exhaust on without a resator but would like to have a backup plan incase things get too loud.

The stainless resonator b18bturbo sells are 3" straight through and are about 5" in diameter (resonator OD). Kteller8 also sells resonators, magnaflows that are 3" staight through. He had posted pics up showing they were....contact them
