Hey guys,

I have a 3" AEM CAI right now and wanted to know if it would be ok to use as a charge pipe for my turbo set up??
It would be coming off 2.5" intercooler piping.

What would be the difference between a 2.5" and 3" charge pipe on my car if I were only boosting 8-10lbs.

If your only boosting 8-10 psi, you dont need anything bigger than 2.5. People have made 500 hp with 2.5 piping.

My suggestion is sell your Intake for $100 and use that to get the correct sized piping .

My piping only cost me $68

 

Slightly more lag since there is more volume that needs to be pressurized
