I'm thinking of getting 22" M/H slicks on 13x8.5 lensos. I hear lensos are not reliable, any truth into this? I would really like to not spend more than $500 for the set.

Anyone have stock rims with slicks? I've got some 14x6 steelies, what about M/T's on these?

I'm selling a set of Bogart Dragon Fly wheels with M&H 22x8x13 tires. They are barely used. I am asking 500.00. It comes with the spacers, lugs and washers as well. Only problem is that I live in Houston though.

I dont understand how a wheel can be unreliable? if all u r doing is running a slick on it at the track, what all do u need it to do?

 

thats what i was wondering too ? its a wheel , and its a light *** wheel for cheap cant beat it .
i tried to get the lensos for my set up , but they were back ordered at that time

 

I seem to remember hearing either earl or mike saying that they heard of people saying--**** I cant phrase sentences....

They heard that the Lenso's come apart or something like that. Do a search on recent topics they contributed to.

 

I have 24.5x13x8 Bogarts with MT's on them. I was told that running 22x13 slicks is for all motor and that you will need at least 24x13 slicks for turbo.

Can anyone else confirm this.

Ok, so the real question is anybody have good success with 22" slicks?

 

22 inch slicks on 15 inch lenzos on my bros D16A6 greddy turboed CRX. Ran a best of 13.80 103 mph, 1.896 60 ft first fun, 1.901-1.982 the rest. 8 psi, bone stock motor with a greddy turbo on 110 octane gas. Launched at 6k rpm stock Carquest clutch. didnt hold after 4th run.

 

i ran consistent 1.8's with my greddy turbo GSR on 22 M&H's and sometimes 1.7's. I had Lenso's on them.

 

Incognito ran 11's on 22" slicks. I'll be running 22x8x13 M&H slicks on Lenso's initially, just get get practice launching and getting used to the new engine set-up. I'm gonna go ahead and purchase a set of 24.5x8.5x13 (or maybe 25x8's when they come out) slicks shortly, however, because I know I'm gonna overpower the 22's

 

Has anyone considered using the 23" M&H's that are coming out. I think theres a good amount of people that can benefit from them, me being one of them.
I remember Louis, the boads nissan ser owner (apexser?) , posting some good info on what slick is best suited for each car's setup/hp range.

Lensos are a street style wheel. There is space where the wheel holes can move around on the studs. Bogart wheels cant do this because they have lug nutz that go all the way through and fill that gap up. What happens with cars that make decent power on the Lensos is they snake the lugs off. Rogar Scalise's race car ran a set and threw his whole wheel down the track....Mike

I had 1.5 60' times and ran 9.71et with 22 tall slicks with an open diff....

they already have 25x8 slicks, in order to use these you will have to cut some of your fender out.

I ran 13.1 on street tires stock b18b turbo.

Also with bogarts with big disc brakes, gsr brakes, type r u will need spacers.
