I can't hear my walbro 255lph at all....yet on my friends impreza I can hear it for a mile away WTF!!!!!

My strutbar got so hot it melted the clip on my map sensor, and it fell off....and is now ziptie'd on WTF!!!

did you just install the pump?

at first, i couldn't hear it but after a month, that whine is getting louder by the day

 

ya I installed it.....actually it's been about a month now.

 

This is the reason I bouhgt a Toyota Supra fuel pump. 255lph, and SILENT!

 

whats the deal with supra pumps? i might wanna look into that..

no modification necessary...supra pump clips right in...takes 5 mins. if your back seat cushion is already up. easy as 1 2 3

 

Forgot to add, it is a factory item guaranteed to work for 100k miles.....unlike the Walbro.

 

good eye on the coolent. uhh about the noise of the pump. i use to drive a jeep wrangler and it never had a gas light, so the way you would tell when were about to run out of gas the fuel pump would be loud as hell. maybe your buddy never runs a full tank.
