Default 2.0LS???

I'm bout to resleeve my LS to 84mm that would make it the same as a sleeved B20block. Do I need to do anything else? It will be used with a B18b head. Also what is better new factory honda head studs or used arp?

I believe you'll have to do some machining to your combustion chambers and probably have to open up your headgasket some.

the 84mm wont line up with 81.5 mm head you would have machine the head gasket a little and open the combustion chamber a little to match it.

not related to your b18b, but a guy that goes to the shop i goto runs 84mm on his b18c block with 12:1 compression. the car's a monster to say the least.

What do you guys think about compression? I was thinking of running higher compression and less boost(I like alot of torque) for a daily driver so 9.5:1 or 10:1?

as long as your tuning methods don't consist of boost dependant regulators, boost retard modules, and check valves (ie, get a PEMS), then a higher compression setup would be great, and reliable as well.

Oh yeah, I also am a really big fan of OEM bearings, seals and such. If you really want it to be stout, Z10 Engineering makes a nifty block girdle, similar to that of the GSR/ITR's

actually im gonna run with crappy fmu setup for a few months before I get hondata(hondata might not be able to mod my ecu) or Zdyne. Before standalone i'll try to be safe, 8degrees retard boost less than 10psi even with a fully built bottom.
